Looking Ahead #18
Well, that was quick. If there’s one good thing to be said about insomnia, it’s that plowing through a book is a lot easier when you’re up all night. I don’t expect this to happen often, but I certainly made short work of my current read.

Currently Reading: Since We Fell by Dennis Lehane.
My Progress: At 85% done, this one will be finished tonight.
Up Next: Sins of Empire by Brian McClellan, purchased on 8/27/2017.
Why I Purchased This Book: McClellan’s Powder Mage trilogy was a great work of fantasy, mixing steampunk with military fiction for a read I’ll certainly revisit some day. As this is a follow-up series, it was a no brainer.
Why I Haven’t Read This Book: I honestly don’t know. This one is hard to explain as I should have been all about jumping in.
How Am I Feeling About Reading This Book: Super excited. This trilogy seems even more well regarded than the first, so hopefully I’m in for a treat!
