Currently Reading: Apex by Ramez Naam
My Progress: I am 85% finished, and should wrap this one up today. Like the other two books in the Nexus series, the pace has ramped up a lot towards the end.
Up Next: The Seventh Day by Scott Shepherd, purchased on 1/4/2014.
Why I Purchased This Book: Good question! I have no idea. I read the synopsis and still don’t have a clue why this one made it into my collection. My best guess is that it was on sale and sounded somewhat interesting.
Why I Haven’t Read This Book: This was purchased during my book club years, so my leisure reading time was pretty minimal.
How Am I Feeling About Reading This Book: Well, I don’t know. The summary revealed that this is a post-apocalyptic story, and I’ve learned that those aren’t really my favorites in the best of years…say nothing about a year with a global pandemic. But we push forward and try to check another book off the list!
